The Aptus Laddered Deep Buffer ETF (ALDB) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund from Aptus Capital Advisors. It is a buffer strategy designed to provide exposure to U.S. large-cap stocks while substantially reducing the impact of market declines.

The fund uses options to create deep downside buffers, meaning protection that begins at or near the first dollar of loss and extends over a larger range than a typical buffer product, in exchange for limits on upside participation. Rather than relying on a single outcome period, it ladders several option positions with staggered start and end dates, so that protection resets at different times.
