The abrdn Focused U.S. Small Cap Active ETF (AFSC) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund from abrdn, the global asset management firm headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland. It invests in stocks of smaller U.S. companies.

The fund follows a focused approach, holding a relatively concentrated portfolio selected through bottom-up fundamental research. Its managers look for small-cap businesses with characteristics such as sound balance sheets, durable competitive positions and capable management, and they may favor quality companies that they believe the market undervalues.
