Harbor Active Commodity ETF (ACOM)

The Harbor Active Commodity ETF is an actively managed commodity fund from Harbor Capital Advisors. It seeks exposure to a broad range of commodity markets, which can include energy, industrial metals, precious metals and agricultural products.

Rather than holding physical goods, a fund of this type gains commodity exposure mainly through futures contracts and related derivatives, typically held through a subsidiary, with the remaining assets in cash and short-term Treasury securities used as collateral. Active management allows the portfolio manager to adjust sector weights and the choice of contract maturities instead of following a fixed commodity index.
