Alpha Architect US Equity ETF (AAUS)

The Alpha Architect US Equity ETF is an exchange-traded fund sponsored by Alpha Architect, an asset manager based in the Philadelphia area that focuses on quantitative and factor-based investing. The fund invests in a portfolio of U.S. common stocks, providing broad exposure to the domestic equity market.

It was the first in a series of Alpha Architect U.S. equity funds designed in part to accept in-kind contributions of existing stock portfolios under Section 351 of the Internal Revenue Code, which allows investors to exchange holdings for ETF shares. Later funds in the series carry numbered names.
