About VAIE
VegaShares US Equity Autocallable Income ETF (VAIE) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to generate income through an autocallable strategy tied to U.S. equity market performance. Autocallables pay contingent coupons as long as the reference equity measure remains above a predetermined barrier and can be redeemed early when the reference rises above a call level.
The fund aims to deliver this type of payoff, historically sold mainly as bank-issued structured notes, through a listed ETF that trades throughout the day. Its income depends on how the reference equity market behaves relative to the strategy's barriers, and sharp declines in U.S. stocks can reduce or eliminate coupons.
The fund is sponsored by VegaShares and has a more conservative companion fund, the VegaShares US Equity Autocallable Conservative Income ETF.
