SUNation Energy, Inc. (SUNE)

SUNation Energy, Inc. is a provider of residential and commercial solar energy systems in the United States. The company was formerly known as Pineapple Energy and adopted the SUNation name after integrating SUNation Solar Systems, a Long Island-based installer. It is headquartered in Ronkonkoma, New York.

The company designs, sells, installs and services solar photovoltaic systems, battery storage and related products for homeowners, businesses and municipalities. Its operations are concentrated in New York, particularly Long Island, and in Hawaii, where it operates through Hawaii Energy Connection and E-Gear, which also develops energy management and storage controller technology.

In addition to new installations, SUNation provides ongoing maintenance, monitoring and repair services for solar and storage systems. Its common stock trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker SUNE.
