SK hynix Inc. (SKHY)

SK hynix Inc. is a South Korean semiconductor company headquartered in Icheon. It is one of the world's major makers of memory chips and part of the SK Group. Its American Depositary Shares trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker SKHY.

The company designs and manufactures DRAM and NAND flash memory, along with products built on them such as solid-state drives. It is a key supplier of high-bandwidth memory (HBM), which is stacked DRAM used with graphics processors and accelerators in AI and high-performance computing systems.

SK hynix sells to makers of servers and data center equipment, PCs, smartphones and other electronics. It runs fabrication facilities in Korea and China and has been building advanced packaging capacity in the United States.
