PIMCO Mortgage-Backed Securities Active Exchange-Traded Fund (PMBS)

The PIMCO Mortgage-Backed Securities Active Exchange-Traded Fund (PMBS) is an actively managed bond ETF from Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), the Newport Beach, California based fixed income manager.

The fund invests mainly in mortgage-backed securities, especially agency MBS guaranteed by entities such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae, and may also hold other securitized debt. The managers actively adjust coupon, prepayment and duration exposures in an effort to outperform a passive mortgage benchmark.
