Nuveen Municipal Income ETF (NUMI)

The Nuveen Municipal Income ETF (NUMI) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund sponsored by Nuveen, the investment manager owned by TIAA. Its objective is to provide current income that is generally exempt from regular federal income tax.

The fund invests primarily in municipal bonds issued by U.S. states, cities and other local government entities to finance public projects such as schools, hospitals, utilities and transportation. Nuveen's municipal team selects securities across sectors, maturities and credit qualities based on its own research rather than replicating an index.
