NPK International Inc. (NPKI)

NPK International Inc. (NPKI) is an industrial company headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, that provides engineered matting systems and related site access services. The company was formerly known as Newpark Resources and adopted its current name after divesting its drilling fluids business to focus on matting.

Its core products are heavy-duty composite mats, sold under the DURA-BASE brand, that create temporary roads and work platforms on soft or environmentally sensitive ground. These mats are used by customers in electrical transmission and distribution, pipeline construction, renewable energy, oil and gas, and other infrastructure work, where they protect the land and allow heavy equipment to operate safely.

NPK both sells the mats outright and rents them out together with installation, removal and logistics services, serving customers mainly in the United States and the United Kingdom.
