About MFSB
The MFS Active Core Plus Bond ETF is an actively managed fixed income fund from MFS Investment Management, the Boston-based firm that launched the first U.S. open-end mutual fund in 1924. It seeks total return through a diversified portfolio of bonds.
The core of the portfolio consists of investment-grade securities such as U.S. Treasuries, agency mortgage-backed securities and corporate bonds, while the plus component allows the managers to add sectors such as high-yield corporate debt and emerging market bonds. MFS's credit and macro research drives sector allocation, security selection and duration decisions rather than index replication.
