Marathon Bancorp, Inc. is the holding company for Marathon Bank, a community bank based in Wausau, Wisconsin. The bank has served central Wisconsin for many decades and operates a small network of branch offices in the Wausau area.

Marathon Bank provides traditional banking services to individuals and businesses, including checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit and other deposit products. On the lending side it offers one-to-four family residential mortgages, commercial real estate loans, multifamily and construction loans, commercial business loans and consumer loans, funded mainly by local deposits.

The company completed its second-step conversion from a mutual holding company structure in 2025, and its common stock trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker MBBC.
