PLUS Korea Defense Industry Index ETF (KDEF)

The PLUS Korea Defense Industry Index ETF (KDEF) is a passively managed fund that seeks to track an index of South Korean companies in the defense industry. It is offered under the PLUS brand of a Korean asset manager.

The index includes Korean companies involved in producing military equipment and related systems, such as land vehicles and artillery, aircraft and aerospace systems, naval shipbuilding, missiles and defense electronics. South Korea's defense manufacturers serve both their domestic armed forces and a growing number of export customers.

The fund offers U.S.-listed access to this sector in a single security, and its returns reflect both the performance of the Korean defense stocks it holds and changes in the Korean won against the U.S. dollar.
