KraneShares China Alpha Index ETF (KCAI)

The KraneShares China Alpha Index ETF (KCAI) is a passively managed fund from Krane Funds Advisors that provides exposure to Chinese equities through a rules-based index.

The underlying index selects and weights Chinese companies using a systematic, factor-driven methodology intended to identify stocks with characteristics associated with outperformance, rather than simply weighting by market capitalization. Holdings can come from a wide range of sectors in the Chinese market.

The fund gives U.S. investors exchange-listed access to a quantitatively constructed portfolio of Chinese stocks, with its returns affected by both the performance of the holdings and movements in the Chinese currency against the U.S. dollar.
