About JPLD

The JPMorgan Limited Duration Bond ETF (JPLD) is an actively managed fixed income fund from J.P. Morgan Asset Management. It aims to deliver current income while keeping interest rate sensitivity low, which it does by holding bonds with relatively short durations rather than tracking a published index.

The portfolio is built mainly from investment-grade debt and can draw on several parts of the bond market, including corporate bonds, government-related securities and securitized assets such as mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities. J.P. Morgan's portfolio managers choose individual holdings and adjust sector weights based on their research into credit quality, structure and relative value.

Because the fund keeps its average duration limited, its share price is designed to be less sensitive to shifts in interest rates than funds that hold longer-dated bonds.
