Jefferson Capital, Inc. is an analytics-driven specialty finance company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its core business is purchasing and recovering charged-off and insolvent consumer receivables.

The company buys portfolios of defaulted accounts from banks, credit card issuers, consumer lenders, telecom providers and other creditors, then works to collect on them through its own operations, agency partners and legal channels. It also acquires accounts of consumers in bankruptcy proceedings.

Jefferson Capital operates in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Latin America. It completed its initial public offering on the Nasdaq in 2025.
