The iShares Currency Hedged MSCI Japan ETF (HEWJ) seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI Japan 100% Hedged to USD Index, which is designed to provide exposure to large- and mid-capitalization Japanese equities while at the same time mitigating exposure to fluctuations between the value of the Japanese yen and the U.S. dollar. The ETF's portfolio primarily consists of Japanese companies in the industrials, consumer discretionary, and information technology sectors, among others.
