Global Partners LP (GLP)

Global Partners LP has been based in Waltham, Massachusetts, since it was incorporated in 2005. It buys, sells, gathers, blends, stores and moves gasoline and blendstocks, distillates, residual oil, renewable fuels, crude oil and propane. Its customers are wholesalers, retailers and commercial users in New England, the Mid-Atlantic and New York. It also ships petroleum products and renewable fuels by rail from the U.S. mid-continent and Canada.

The Wholesale segment sells heating oil, branded and unbranded gasoline, blendstocks, diesel, kerosene, residual oil and propane to heating oil retailers and wholesale distributors. It also collects crude oil by truck or pipeline in the mid-continent and ships it by rail and barge to refiners. The Gasoline Distribution and Station Operations segment supplies station operators and sub-jobbers, runs gas stations and convenience stores with car wash, lottery and ATM services, and leases stations.

The Commercial segment sells and delivers unbranded gasoline, heating oil, diesel, kerosene, residual oil, bunker fuel and custom-blended fuels to public agencies and commercial and industrial users. As of December 31, 2021, the partnership had 1,595 owned, leased or supplied gas stations, 295 of them company-run convenience stores, and 26 bulk terminals with 11.9 million barrels of storage. Its general partner is Global GP LLC.
