General Fusion Group Ltd. (GFUZ)

General Fusion Group Ltd. is a fusion energy company developing a technology called magnetized target fusion. In its approach, a plasma is confined in a magnetic field and then rapidly compressed by a liquid metal liner driven by pistons, heating it to fusion conditions, with the liquid metal also intended to capture heat and shield the machine.

The company has built a series of plasma injectors and compression prototypes and is operating its LM26 demonstration machine, intended to reach key fusion milestones on the path toward a commercial power plant that could supply carbon-free, dispatchable electricity.
