Fortress Value Acquisition Corp. V (FVAV)

Fortress Value Acquisition Corp. V is a special purpose acquisition company, or blank-check company, sponsored by an affiliate of Fortress Investment Group. It was formed to raise capital in an initial public offering and then complete a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition or similar business combination with one or more operating businesses.

The company has no operations of its own; its offering proceeds are typically held in a trust account until a deal is completed or the company liquidates, and public shareholders generally may redeem their shares in connection with a proposed business combination. Earlier Fortress Value SPACs completed mergers in sectors such as mobility and industrial businesses. Its Class A ordinary shares trade on the Nasdaq.
