Fermi Inc. (FRMI)

Fermi Inc. is an energy and digital infrastructure developer building a large private power grid and data center campus intended to supply electricity and hosting capacity for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing customers. Its flagship project is located near Amarillo, Texas, on land associated with Texas Tech University and close to the Pantex nuclear facility.

The company plans to combine multiple sources of generation, including natural gas, nuclear, solar and wind power, with grid connections to create what it describes as a hyperscale energy campus, leasing powered space and capacity to tenants. Fermi was co-founded by former Texas governor and U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry. It completed its initial public offering in 2025, and its common stock trades on the Nasdaq.
