Simplify Currency Strategy ETF (FOXY)

Simplify Currency Strategy ETF (FOXY) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund from Simplify Asset Management, launched in 2025. It seeks returns from movements in foreign exchange rates.

The fund takes long and short currency positions using forward contracts, swaps and futures. Its approach combines a mean-reversion strategy among the G10 developed-market currencies with a carry strategy in emerging-market currencies, which seeks to earn interest-rate differentials. Overall the portfolio tends to be positioned long a basket of foreign currencies and short the U.S. dollar.

Much of the fund's assets are held in short-term government securities or money market instruments that serve as collateral for its derivative positions.
