First Trust Indxx Critical Metals ETF (FMTL)

First Trust Indxx Critical Metals ETF (FMTL) is an index-based exchange-traded fund from First Trust Advisors, launched in 2025. It seeks investment results that correspond to the Indxx Global Critical Metals Index.

The index includes global companies involved in mining, processing and producing metals and minerals considered critical to modern industry and technology, such as copper, lithium, rare earths and other materials used in electrification, electronics and defense. Eligible companies must also have revenue ties to North America, and the index is weighted by market capitalization.

The fund holds the index constituents, giving exposure to the global metals and mining sector focused on strategically important materials.
