Energy Transfer LP (ET)

Energy Transfer LP, based in Dallas, Texas, provides a wide range of energy services. It owns about 11,600 miles of natural gas transportation pipelines and storage facilities in Texas, Oklahoma and other states. It also runs 19,830 miles of interstate natural gas pipelines that supply electric utilities, independent power plants and industrial users.

The partnership gathers, processes and distributes natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs), with facilities in Texas, New Mexico, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and other states. Its assets include about 5,215 miles of NGL pipelines, as well as fractionation and storage plants.

Energy Transfer also transports and markets crude oil and distributes gasoline and other motor fuels. Other services include natural gas compression and removal of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, and it manages coal and natural resource properties. It was formed in 1996 and took the Energy Transfer LP name in 2018.
