The Specialty segment offers batteries for starting, lighting, and ignition applications in the transportation industry and energy solutions for satellites, military aircraft, submarines, ships, and tactical vehicles. Additionally, it serves medical and security systems, ensuring reliable power in critical applications. The company also supplies battery chargers, power equipment, battery accessories, and outdoor cabinet enclosures, along with related aftermarket and customer-support services.

EnerSys distributes its products through a comprehensive network of distributors, independent representatives, and internal sales forces. Originally known as Yuasa, Inc., the company rebranded to EnerSys in January 2001. Incorporated in 2000 and headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania, EnerSys has established itself as a leader in the energy storage industry, continuously innovating to meet the evolving needs of its global customer base.
