Companhia Paranaense de Energia, known as Copel, is an integrated Brazilian electric utility headquartered in Curitiba, in the state of Parana. This listing represents the company's American Depositary Shares.

Copel generates electricity mainly from hydroelectric plants, supplemented by wind farms and other sources, and owns transmission lines and substations. Its distribution business delivers power to millions of homes and businesses throughout Parana, and it also sells energy in Brazil's free market to large consumers. The company has additional interests in natural gas distribution and other energy-related ventures.

Founded in 1954 as a state-controlled company, Copel was transformed in 2023 into a corporation without a controlling shareholder after the state of Parana reduced its stake.
