Global X U.S. 500 Income Edge ETF (EDGX)

The Global X U.S. 500 Income Edge ETF (EDGX) is an exchange-traded fund from Global X ETFs. It holds a portfolio of large-cap U.S. stocks drawn from a widely followed 500-stock U.S. benchmark and applies an options strategy to generate income.

The fund sells options on its equity exposure, using the premiums to fund regular distributions. This options overlay produces income but caps part of the upside potential, so its returns differ from those of a standard large-cap U.S. index fund.
