About Dauch Corporation

Dauch Corporation is a global automotive supplier headquartered in Detroit, Michigan. It was formerly known as American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings and changed its name in 2026, honoring company founder Richard Dauch, while switching its New York Stock Exchange ticker from AXL to DCH.

The company designs, engineers and manufactures driveline and metal-forming products for light vehicles, commercial vehicles and other applications. Its driveline offerings include front and rear axles, driveshafts, universal joints, differentials and electric drive units for hybrid and battery-electric vehicles. The metal-forming business produces forged, cast and machined components such as transmission and engine parts.

The company expanded its global footprint by acquiring the British engineering group Dowlais, owner of GKN Automotive. Its main customers are major automakers, and it operates manufacturing, engineering and technical facilities across North America, Europe, Asia and South America.
