Companhia Energetica de Minas Gerais, known as Cemig, is a Brazilian electric utility headquartered in Belo Horizonte and controlled by the state government of Minas Gerais. These American depositary receipts represent the company's common shares.

Cemig is an integrated power group with operations in electricity generation, transmission and distribution, as well as the sale of power to free-market customers. Its generation portfolio is dominated by hydroelectric plants, complemented by wind and solar assets.
