BOXABL designs and builds prefabricated homes in its own factories using a system intended to bring automated, assembly-line manufacturing to residential construction. Its best-known product is the Casita, a compact studio-style dwelling that ships folded and can be unfolded and set up on site in a short time. The company positions its products for uses such as accessory dwelling units, backyard homes and affordable housing, and it is developing larger configurations that combine multiple modules into bigger homes.
