KraneShares Man Buyout Beta Index ETF (BUYO)

The KraneShares Man Buyout Beta Index ETF (BUYO) seeks to replicate the return characteristics of private equity buyout funds using publicly traded stocks. It tracks an index that selects listed companies resembling the types of businesses typically acquired in leveraged buyouts.

The approach is based on research suggesting that buyout returns can be approximated by a portfolio of smaller, value-oriented and more leveraged public companies in sectors favored by private equity sponsors. This gives investors a liquid, transparent way to pursue private equity-like exposure.

The fund is sponsored by KraneShares in partnership with Man Group, the global investment manager whose research underpins the index methodology.
