FT Vest Laddered Emerging Markets Buffer ETF (BUFE)

The FT Vest Laddered Emerging Markets Buffer ETF (BUFE) is a fund of funds that invests in a series of FT Vest emerging markets buffer ETFs with staggered outcome periods. Each underlying fund uses options on an emerging markets equity benchmark to provide a buffer against a set portion of losses over its outcome period, in exchange for a cap on upside.

By holding several series that reset at different times of the year, the laddered structure spreads out reset dates, reducing reliance on the market level at any single starting point. The result is diversified exposure to emerging market equities with a defined-outcome overlay.

The fund is sponsored by First Trust Advisors and sub-advised by Vest Financial, which specializes in buffer and defined-outcome strategies.
