Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. owns and operates infrastructure in North and South America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Its businesses fall into four groups: utilities, transport, midstream and data.

The Utilities segment has about 61,000 km of electricity transmission and distribution lines, 5,300 km of transmission lines and 4,200 km of natural gas pipelines, serving 7.3 million electricity and gas connections. It also provides heating and cooling, gas distribution and home services. The Transport segment moves and stores goods, commodities and passengers using roughly 22,000 km of rail track and 13 port terminals.

The Midstream segment handles natural gas transmission, gathering, processing and storage through about 15,000 km of pipelines and storage facilities. The Data segment runs 148,000 operating telecom towers, along with data centers and fiber networks. The partnership was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda. It continues to grow its global footprint through new investments, with a focus on long-term value.
