The Baillie Gifford Emerging Markets ETF (BGEG) is an actively managed equity fund from Baillie Gifford, the Edinburgh-based investment partnership founded in 1908.

The fund invests in companies located in or closely tied to emerging economies across Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Baillie Gifford's emerging markets team looks for businesses with strong growth prospects, competitive strengths and capable management, taking a long-term view and paying attention to the structural changes shaping developing economies.

Holdings are chosen through bottom-up research and are not tied to index weights, so country and sector allocations can differ substantially from emerging markets benchmarks. The fund's goal is long-term capital growth.
