Homeinns Hotel Group (HMIN) is a Chinese hotel chain that provides affordable accommodation for travelers in China. The company operates over 1,200 hotels in more than 300 cities across China, including Homeinn, Yitel, and Motel 168.
In December 2017, Homeinns Hotel Group was acquired by BTG Hotels Group Co. Ltd., a Chinese hotel operator and a subsidiary of Beijing Tourism Group. As a result, Homeinns Hotel Group is now a privately held company and is no longer traded on any stock exchange.
Prior to its acquisition, Homeinns Hotel Group was listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the ticker symbol "HMIN." The company's stock was first listed in 2006 and had a market capitalization of over $2 billion before it was taken private. Investors who previously held shares of HMIN may have received cash or other consideration in exchange for their shares as part of the acquisition.
