Bob
Evans Farms, Inc. (BOBE) was a publicly-traded foodservice company
that owned and operated full-service restaurants and a food products
division. The company was founded in 1948 and was based in New Albany,
Ohio.
In 2017, Bob Evans Farms sold its restaurant division to
Golden Gate Capital, a private equity firm, for $565 million.
Following the sale, the company changed its name to Post Holdings,
Inc. (POST) and continued to operate its food products division, which
produces and distributes refrigerated and frozen convenience food
items to retail and foodservice customers across the United States.
As of March 12, 2023, BOBE stock no longer trades on any stock
exchange as the company was acquired by Golden Gate Capital and
subsequently renamed to Post Hol
