Invesco S&P 500 High Dividend Low Volatility ETF logo

The S&P 500 High Dividend Low Volatility Invesco ETF (SPHD) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the investment results of the S&P 500 Low Volatility High Dividend Index. The fund's objective is to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the index.

The S&P 500 Low Volatility High Dividend Index is designed to measure the performance of the top 50 least volatile high dividend-yielding stocks in the S&P 500 Index. The index selects stocks with the highest dividend yield and lowest volatility over the past 12 months. The index is rebalanced semi-annually in January and July.

The SPHD ETF has a low expense ratio of 0.30% and pays monthly dividends. It is popular among income-seeking investors who are looking for a higher yield than the broad market while minimizing the risk of volatility. As of February 18, 2023, the fund's top holdings include AT&T, Verizon Communications, and Duke Energy.

It's important to note that while the fund is designed to reduce volatility, it may still experience fluctuations in value, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Investors should carefully consider their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and other factors before investing in SPHD or any other investment vehicle.
